The domain name registration you provide is hosted by us to the public unless User requests Esotech to register the listing privately for an additional fee. The WHOIS database is a publicly accessible database that lists the domain name and contact information of each registrant depending on their listing option selected. When domain name registration information is available to the public, anyone can access it through “WHOIS” searches. In certain jurisdictions, domain name registration information legally has to be available to the public. Esotech may also generate non-identifying and aggregate profiles from personal information Users provide during registration (such as the total number, but not the names, of Users). In this instance, personal information may not be used by the partner for any other purpose. However, in instances where Esotech and a partner jointly promote Services, Esotech may provide the partner certain necessary personal information for the sole purpose of allowing Esotech and the partner to assess the results of the promotion. This information is not shared with third parties, unless specifically stated otherwise or in special circumstances. The purpose of collecting this information is to manage each User’s account so Esotech may provide Users with information about services that pertain to that User’s specific needs. Users are asked to provide personal information when they sign up for Services including but not limited to name, address, telephone number, billing information, and the type of computer being used to access the Services.
This information is generally not shared with third parties unless it is required given special circumstances which are described below. The intended use of this information is to provide both Users and Visitors with a tailored experience to fit each User and Visitor’s needs.
